CBS宣布他们正在研究开发《海军罪案调查处NCIS》系列的第四部剧《海军罪案调查处：夏威夷NCIS:Hawaii》，这部剧由《海军罪案调查处：新奥尔良NCIS:NewOrleans》的幕后ChristopherSilber与JanNash及《海豹突击队SEALTeam》的MattBosack联手制作。目前这项目的情报不多，只知是讲述一支被设置在夏威夷的海军罪案调查处新团队，而且不像过去的衍生剧，这剧不会在其他系列剧率先登场。过去《海军罪案调查处：洛杉矶NCIS:LosAngeles》倒是曾经和《夏威夷特勤组HawaiiFive-0》联动，因此来过夏威夷。
